United Nation's Global Week to Act4SDGs
Celebrating United Nation's Global Week to #Act4SDGs which is an annual mobilization moment that aims to inspire collective action from organizations and individuals with an overall target of 1 billion actions by 2030 in support of the Sustainable Development Goals.
In line with the Global Week ,Denny Social Welfare Hub collabtoted with Lagos Water Corporation, Adiyan WaterWorks Quarters by engaging the children and youth in the community to awake their mindset to be an active Global Citizens through personal development.
What are SDGs all about
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a collection of 17 interlinked global goals designed to be a blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. The SDGs were set up in 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly (UN-GA) and are intended to be achieved by the year 2030.
The 17 SDGs are:
